With its vintage look, the Eltax Vintage MTR 1959 is a direct descendant of its big sister, the Eltax Vintage PWR 1959.
Its solid construction allows it to deliver an incredibly warm sound in a very efficient way. The Eltax Vintage MTR 1959 is a 3-way bass reflex model with a 30 cm diameter bass driver and a 12cm diameter midrange driver in a sealed wooden enclosure. Both drivers are made of cellulose, coated for the midrange, offering a dynamic and reactive sound reproduction. Its 2.5 cm tweeter is made of a silk dome placed in a compression chamber to mechanically amplify the sound, thus making its high frequency reproduction more precise and natural. The reinforcements of the cabinet provide rigidity to the whole and allow to eliminate any harmful vibration for a serene and parasite-free listening. Designed to reproduce a live concert in all its majesty without cluttering up the room, the Eltax MRT-1959 offers an excellent compromise between listening comfort, power handling and tonal precision in a timeless vintage design.
